5) Push and hold green power button on the base control panel.
6) Select a function or functions and operate the appropriate hydraulic levers in full accordance
with manufacturers operating and safety manual. (Refer to Section 4.2.1)
Note: Move lever until resistance is felt, then push/pull harder to activate function.
7) To return control to the basket, turn base control key-switch to the Basket position (fully
clockwise).
8) When not in use return machine to stowed position, turn the base control key-switch anti-
clockwise to the Off position, remove key and chock wheels.
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
1) Push in red emergency stop to shut down all functions.
2) In the event that the controls fail or the operator becomes incapacitated the booms can be
operated by using the manual hand pump or auxiliary emergency pump (if fitted)which is
located under the canopy adjacent to the base controls. To operate:
a) Move and hold control lever required.
b) Operate hand pump handle to move machine or press and hold the white button (if fitted)
adjacent to the base controls. (Refer to Section 4.2.1)
c) Release control lever to halt machine movement.
