Why can't my Nikon Coolpix P900 focus?
    • A
      April HowellAug 25, 2025
Your Nikon Digital Camera might not be able to focus because: * The subject is too close. * The focus mode setting is incorrect. * The subject is hard to focus on. * The subject is not in the focus area when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. * The focus mode is set to E (manual focus). Try shooting using the Scene auto selector or Close-up scene mode, or the macro close-up focus mode. Check or change the focus setting. Set AF assist in the setup menu to Auto. You can also try turning the camera off and then on again.
