Movies and voice recordings will be dated “01/01/2008 00:00.” * Check the camera clock regularly against more accurate timepieces and reset as required.

      The date will not appear on movies or pictures shot using l (Museum) or p (Panorama assist) in scene mode. Also, the date won't appear when Continuous or BSS is selected for Continuous, or options other than Off is selected for Auto bracketing in the shooting menu, or when shooting in d (sport continuous) mode.
