If your Nikon Digital Camera's battery isn't charging when connected to a computer, the camera might be turned off, or the computer could be entering sleep mode. Charging will stop if the computer goes to sleep during charging, and the camera may also turn off. Depending on your computer's specifications, settings, and status, charging the battery via computer connection may not be possible.
