Close the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
Removing
the
Battery and
Memory
Card
Turn the camera
off
and make
sure
that the power-on lamp and the monitor have turned
off
before opening the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
• Note that the camera, battery, and memory card may become
hot
during
use;
observe due
caution when removing the battery and
memory
card.

in
the direction indicated by the

to
partially eject the battery, then carefully pull the
battery straight out to remove it
