Quick Silent
1 Press (Menu) and then within three seconds.
You will now be notified of an incoming call or text message by a short
beep instead of the call alert type set in the Call Alert menu.
Note: This silent mode is temporary and does not affect the Call Alert
menu setting. See also Call Alert in the Menu Functions chapter.
2 To set the phone back to the original call alert mode, press (Menu)
and then within three seconds.
Multi-Call Handling
Your phone provides a number of functions which you can access during
a call by using the in-call menu.
To access the in-call menu when the menu function In-Call Functions
(Menu 4 6) is set to On:
1 Press during a call. The softkey text changes from End to Options.
2 Press (Options) to access the available in-call menu, or press
to restore the softkey text End.
Call Waiting
You can answer an incoming call while you have a call in progress if the
call waiting service is supported by the network and if you have activated
the call waiting service in the menu function Call Waiting Service (Menu
4 5). You are notified of a waiting call by a call waiting tone.
To answer a waiting call when the menu function In-Call Functions
(Menu 4 6) is set to On:
1 Press (Answer). The first call is put on hold.
Tip: You can toggle between softkey texts End and Options by
pressing . The softkey text End ends the active call.
