Erase: Removes user-defined topics from the list. Scroll with or
to the topic you want to remove from the list and press (OK).
Reading a Broadcast Message
If you select one of the topic names, messages related to the topic will be
displayed. Scroll the messages with or .
Pressing (Options) while reading a message gives you the fol-
lowing options:
Use number: Extracts the phone number from the current mes-
sage so that you can dial it or store it in the Phone Book.
Off: Turns off the Broadcast Messages function.
Message Centre Number (Menu 2 5)
Within this submenu you can store the phone number of your text mes-
sage centre. The number is required for sending text messages. Contact
your local service provider for the number.
1 Press (Menu), scroll with or to MESSAGES, press
(Select), then scroll with or to MESSAGE CENTRE NUMBER
and press (Edit number).
2 Key in the phone number of the service centre, or press (Phone
book) and scroll with or to the number, and press (Send).
3 Press (Number OK) to store the number.
Reply Via Own Centre (Menu 2 6)
This network service allows the recipient of your text message to send you
a reply message via your message centre. For more information, contact
your local service provider.
