Phone Settings (Menu 4)
This menu function allows you to personalize your phone.
PIN Code Request (Menu 4 1)
This menu function allows you to set the phone to ask for your PIN code
(provided by your service provider) every time the phone is switched on.
Note: Some SIM cards do not allow the PIN code request to be turned off.
1 Press (Menu), scroll with or to PHONE SETTINGS, press
(Select), press (Change) to access PIN CODE REQUEST.
2 At the Enter PIN code: prompt, key in your PIN code and press
(OK).
3 Scroll with or to On or Off and press (OK).
Phone Security (Menu 4 2)
The phone is supplied with a five-digit security code which allows you to
protect the phone against unauthorised use.
Note: Whenever you change this setting, all numbers stored in the menu
Call Register (Menu 3) are erased.
1 Press (Menu), scroll with or to PHONE SETTINGS, press
(Select), then scroll with or to reach PHONE SECURITY
and press (Change).
2 Key in the security code and press (OK).
3 Scroll with or to either of the following options and press
(OK) to select the option:
• Off: Security code is not required when the phone is switched on.
• On: Security code is required when the phone is switched on with
a SIM card that you haven’t used with the phone before.
Note: The phone recognises only the last five SIM cards used.
