Saving a name & phone number
(Add entry)
1 Press Names.
2 Press
Options and scroll to Add entry and press OK.
3 Enter the name and press
OK. See “Entering letters & numbers” on
page35.
4 Enter an area code and phone number, and press
OK.
If you enter the + character for the international prefix (by pressing
twice) in front of the country code, you can also use the phone
number when calling from abroad.
Quick Save:With the display clear, enter the phone number and press
the left selection key twice. Enter the name and press
OK.
Saving a voice tag with an entry
You can assign a recorded “voice tag,” such as a person’s name, to up to
10 phone book entries. This feature allows you to dial the phone number
by saying the name you have recorded.
Record a voice tag when saving a new entry
1 When adding a new entry, the phone displays Add voice? Press
Start.
2 Wait for the tone, then speak the name you want to assign to the entry.
3 The phone replays the tag and asks you to confirm that it is correct.
Add a voice tag to an existing entry
1 Select the phone book entry to which you want to add a voice tag.
