3 The user of the sending device selects the desired IR function to start
data transfer.
If data transfer is not started within 45 seconds after the activation of the
IR port, the connection is cancelled and has to be started again.
Checking the status of an IR connection
The status of an IR connection is indicated by .
• When is shown continuously, there is an IR connection between
your phone and the other device.
• When is not shown, no IR connection exists.
• When blinks, your phone is trying to connect to the other device or
the connection has been lost.
