12.Settings
Within the Settings menu you can change a number of settings
related to the phone’s functions and security.
• Call settings
Anykey answer
When this feature is turned on, you can answer an incoming call by briefly
pressing any key except or .
1-touch dialing
When 1-touch dialing is turned on, the names and phone numbers
assigned to the keys 1 to 9 can be dialed by pressing and holding the
corresponding number key. See “1-touch dialing” on page43 and
“Assigning a 1-touch dialing number” on page43.
Automatic redial
When this feature is turned on, your phone will make up to ten attempts
to connect the call after an unsuccessful call attempt.
Send own number
This network service allows you to set whether your phone number is
hidden or displayed to the person you are calling.
Preset resets the
phone to the default setting,
On or Off, that you have agreed upon with
your service provider.
