Security features
The access codes (except PUK and PUK2 codes) can be changed by using 
menu 4-4-7. See “Security settings” on page73.
Security code (5 digits)
See “Protecting the phone with security code” on page80.
PIN code (4 to 8 digits)
See “Protecting the SIM card with PIN code” on page79.
PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits)
The PIN2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, is required to access some 
functions, such as call cost counters. These functions are only available if 
supported by your SIM card. 
If you enter an incorrect PIN2 code three times in a succession, you 
cannot use the functions requiring PIN2 code unless you enter the PUK2 
code. 
PUK code (8 digits)
The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is required to change a blocked 
PIN code. The PUK code may be supplied with the SIM card. If not, contact 
your local service provider for the code.
If you enter an incorrect PUK code ten times in succession, the SIM card 
becomes invalid. Contact your service provider for a new card.
PUK2 code (8 digit)
The PUK2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, is required to change a 
blocked PIN2 code. 
If you enter an incorrect PUK2 code ten times in succession, you cannot 
use the functions requiring PIN2 code. To use the functions, contact your 
service provider for a new card.
Restriction password
The restriction password is needed for using call restrictions 
(Menu4-4-4). Contact your service provider for the password.
