Enhancement settings
You can define the settings that the phone uses by default when it is connected to
a compatible headset, car kit or inductive loopset. This menu is shown only if the
phone has been connected to one of these enhancements at least once.
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and
Enhancement settings.
Select Headset, Handsfree or Loopset, if available. Select
• Default profile to select the profile that is automatically activated when you
connect the selected enhancement to the phone. You can select another
profile while the enhancement is connected.
• Automatic answer to set the phone to automatically answer an incoming call
after five seconds. If Incoming call alert is set to Beep once or Off, automatic
answer cannot be used.
• Lights to set the lights permanently on (On) or to remain on for 15 seconds
after a keypress (Automatic). This setting is available only when Handsfree is
selected.
Enhancement indicators in standby mode
When a compatible enhancement is connected to the phone, the corresponding
indicator ( , or ) is shown on the display in standby mode.
Security settings
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and
Security settings.
