• Confirm SIM service actions to set the phone to show confirmation messages
(Yes) when you use SIM card services.
• Help text activation to set the phone to show help texts that guide you in using
the menu functions.
• Start-up tone to set the phone to play a tone when the phone is switched on.
• Memory status to view the total amount of free and used shared memory and
the amount of memory used by different functions.
Display settings
To access this menu: Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and
Display settings. Select
• Wallpaper to set the phone to show a background image, ’wallpaper’, when the
phone is in standby mode.
The wallpaper images can be found in the Gallery menu. You can save new
images in supported formats from received multimedia messages, download
them from browser pages, or transfer them with Nokia PC Suite from a
compatible PC. Also photos taken with the phone’s camera can be used as
wallpaper.
To set an image as the wallpaper, do either of the following:
