Using encrypted login enables improved security for user names and
passwords. It does not improve security for the connection itself.
• Retrieve e-mails: Select All to retrieve all your e-mail messages at once,
or select User defined to retrieve only some of them at a time.
General settings for the e-mail function
Press Menu in standby mode and select Messages and E-mail. Select
• Connect via to activate the network connection settings that you want to use
with the e-mail function.
Select Application to activate the settings that are used for the e-mail
function or select Default to use the same settings as with your browser, see
Keying in the service settings manually on page 135.

Deleting messages
To delete a text or multimedia message that you are reading or viewing, press
Options and select the appropriate function.
To delete all messages from a folder or all the folders:
1. Press Menu in standby mode and select Messages, Text messages or
Multimedia msgs., and Delete messages.
2. To delete all the messages from a folder, select the desired folder and press Yes.
To delete all the text messages from all the folders, select All messages and
press Yes.
