• Closed user group to specify a group of people whom you can call and who can
call you (network service). Select Default to set the phone to use the group
that you have agreed with your service provider. For more information, contact
your network operator or service provider.
When you use a closed user group, the group number and are shown in
standby mode.
• Security level to define when the phone asks for the security code.
If you select Phone, the phone asks for the security code when a new SIM card
is inserted into the phone.
If you select Memory, the security code is requested when the memory in use is
SIM card and you want to change the memory to Phone or Phone and SIM or
copy names and numbers from one contacts list to another. See also Memory
in use under Selecting the settings for contacts on page 83.
When you change this setting, the numbers in the menus Missed calls,
Received calls and Dialled numbers are deleted.
• Access codes to change the security code, PIN code, PIN2 code, barring
password or UPIN code. The codes can only include numbers from 0 to 9.
Restoring factory settings
You can reset some of the menu settings to their original values.
Press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and Restore factory settings. Key
in the security code and press OK. Note that this function does not delete the
information that you have saved or downloaded to the phone.
