4. Using the menu
Your phone offers a wide range of functions that are grouped in menus.
Most of the menu functions are provided with a brief help text. To view the help
text, scroll to the desired menu function and wait for about 15 seconds. To exit the
help text, press Back.
The help text can be set to on or off using the Help text activation function in the
Phone settings menu, see page 94.
■ Accessing a menu function
By scrolling
1. Press Menu in standby mode.
2. Press down, up, left or right to scroll to a main menu, for example Settings,
and press Select to open it.
When the menu view is List, you can press to scroll up or down through the
main menus. To change the menu view, see Menu view in Display settings on
page 97.
3. Scroll to a submenu, for example Call settings, and press Select.
If the submenu contains further submenus, for example Speed dialling, repeat
this step.
4. Scroll to a setting option, for example Off, and press Select.
