the information on the SIM card. If the card includes several languages, you
can select the desired one with the SIM language setting.
This setting also affects the date and time formats used, for example, in the
calendar.
• Automatic keyguard to set the keypad to lock automatically after a certain
length of time when the phone is in standby mode.
To activate the automatic keyguard, select On and set the time after which the
keypad is locked. To deactivate the automatic keyguard, select Off.

Note: When Keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the emergency number
programmed into your phone (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number). Key
in the emergency number and press . The number is displayed only after you
have keyed in its last digit.
• Security keyguard to set the phone to ask for the security code when the
keypad lock is opened. Note that activating this function does not protect your
phone data from PC Suite access.
To activate the security keyguard, key in the security code, press OK and select
On. To deactivate the security keyguard, select Off.
