3.1.3 FP4 Assembly Upgrading
The provisioned level of an assembly can be upgraded using a software license. 
Once the software license is applied to an assembly, the assembly will operate at the 
level of the upgrade, which unlocks more ports, bandwidth, or functionality, or a 
combination. Multiple upgrades can be applied to the same assembly, which allows 
any of the cards to be upgraded to any of the higher levels. 
Figure 9 and Figure 10 show the same XMA as in the Figure 8 example but with two 
upgrades applied to move it from the cr1600g level to the er2400g level.
