5.5. HydraulicPlumbing
Fromthispointonintheinstallationtheboomswillbeinoperativeuntilthehydraulicsarefullyinstalled.
TheCasefactorymainliftaccumulatorsmustbechargedtotheirrecommendedsettingforproperoperation
ofthe UC7™Boom Height Control system.Evenonnewsprayers, the charge pressure shouldbe checked
beforeproceedingwiththeinstallation.
1. After the NORAC valve is mounted, the hydraulic hoses and fittings can be plumbed. The plumbing for
thehydrauliccircuitisshownschematicallyinFigure2.
2. Connect four (4) 6MOR‐6FORX90 fittings (F07) to the “A” and “B” ports on the NORAC valve block.
Attachfour6FORXR‐6MORTteefittings(F03)ontotheF07fittingsontheNORACblock.
3. Connectfour6FORXR‐6MORTteefittings(F13)ontotheF03teesontheNORACblock.
4. Connecttherightlowerline(the“A”line) hosefromthecylindertooneendofthe6FORXR‐6MORTtee
fitting(F13)ontherightNORAC“A”port.
5. Connectthe rightraiseline(the“B”line)hose from the cylinderto one endofthe 6FORXR‐6MORT tee
fitting(F13)ontherightNORAC“B”port.
6. Connecthose H04betweentheleftlowerline (the“A” line)onthe cylinderto oneendofthe6FORXR‐
6MORTteefitting(F13)ontheleftNORAC“A”port.
7. Connect hose H03 between the left raise line (the “B” line) on the cylinder to one end of the 6FORXR‐
6MORTteefitting(F13)ontheleftNORAC
“B”port.
8. Install the four (4) hoses (H01) between the tee fitting (F03) and the Case valve block.Use the 6MB‐
6MORadapters(F05)toconnectthehosestotheCasevalveblock.
9. ConnecthosesH02tothe“P”and“T”portsontheNORACvalveblockandroutetotheCasevalveblock.
10. Teethepressureandtanklines(H02)fortheNORACvalveblockintotheexisting“P” and“T”linesonthe
Casesprayerblockusingthe8FORXR‐8MORT(F06)fittingsandthe8MOR‐8MB(F04)adapters.
