Danger of explosion due to electricity
Electric sparks may ignite an explosive atmosphere.
• Do not open the device in an explosive atmosphere and do not remove any covers (e.g.
diagnostic openings).
• All work on the device must only be carried out with the power to the system switched
off.
• Wait for the required time (≥ 30 min) after switching off.
• Before starting work, check that all relevant components (voltage source, connection
cables, connection terminals of the device) are free of voltage using suitable measuring
equipment.

Explosion hazard due to high temperatures

permissible surface temperature of the housing. Dust deposits may restrict the cooling of the
device.
• Clean the device at regular intervals to prevent the accumulation of impermissible dust
deposits.
• Do not open or remove the device from the motor in an explosive atmosphere.
