      If your NordicTrack Treadmill isn't turning on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor and that the suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. Also, check that the key is fully inserted into the console. Examine the circuit breaker near the power cord; if it protrudes, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it. Finally, confirm the on/off switch near the power cord is in the 'on' position.

      To troubleshoot incline issues on your NordicTrack Treadmill, with the key in the console, press one of the incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.

      If your NordicTrack Treadmill shuts off during use, check the circuit breaker located near the power cord. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. Try unplugging the cord, waiting five minutes, and then plugging it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key fully into the console, and verify that the on/off switch is in the 'on' position.

    What to do if the walking belt slows when walked on NordicTrack SUMMIT 4500 Treadmill?

      If the walking belt slows down when you walk on your NordicTrack Treadmill, use a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specifications. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the allen wrench to turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the walking belt 3 to 4 inches off the walking platform.
