Bring a small metal object approximately the size of a matchbox close to the loop coil. The following will happen on
detecon:
The output LED will light up.
Output relays set to PRESENCE on that channel will operate.
Output relays set to PULSE will operate momentarily (approximately 150ms duraon).
To check the sensitivity, presence me etc., use should be made a calibrated tester, which compromises of a calibrated
loop similar to the one described above with a moveable vane, which can be moved over the loop at pre-determined
heights.
This device together with the on-board diagnoscs (obtainable using the DU100 / DU700) will allow comprehensive
analysis of the operang characteristics of the detector.
