Distributed Processing Peripheral
Each DPP cabinet is approximately 24 inches (618 mm) high by 19 inches
(483 mm) wide by 14 inches (362 mm) deep. Each unit, power supply, and
disk drive is housed in a separate chassis. Each DPP cabinet is constructed of
aluminum to both decrease unit weight and to protect against Electromagnetic
Interference (EMI) effects.
The external dimensions of a DPP cabinet are provided in Figure 2-2.
