VIDEO OUTPUT
You can access the Video Output settings by navigating through the following screens:
Menu > Settings > Advanced Options > Television Setup > Video Output
Item Settings Comments
Aspect Ratio 4:3 For ‘standard’ (4:3) TVs
16:9* For ‘widescreen’ (16:9) TVs
Video Mode Pan Scan The side edges of the widescreen programme will be cut-o but the
entire screen will be lled.
Letter Box The entire picture of the widescreen programme will be displayed in
a standard (4:3) TV, but the picture will not ll the screen. There will
be black bars on the top and bottom of the picture.
Auto* The picture is displayed as per the video mode of the transmitted
programme.
Pillar Box The entire picture will be displayed as if it were on a standard TV with
black bars on either side of the picture.
SCART CVBS Analogue composite video for SCART output.
RGB* Analogue RGB video for SCART output.
HDMI

576p For ‘852 x 576’ TV resolution.
720p For ‘1280 x 720’ TV resolution.
1080i For ‘1920 x 1080’ TV resolution.
Original* Resolution settings of the transmitted programme is not changed.
Native Resolution settings of the transmitted programme is always changed
to ‘1920 x 1080’.
