GUARANTEE OF SET-TOP BOX
We would like to thank you for your preference. We are denite that you will be absolutely satised by your choice to join our
subscription based TV services.
Your decoder has undergone all the necessary technical controls. In the event of any failure of the decoder, please contact:
Greece : The Customer Service Department of MULTICHOICE HELLAS or our Technical Representative nearest your location.
You will nd a valid list of all our Technical Representatives (“Installers”) in our monthly “NOVA MAGAZINE” or in the web site of
MULTICHOICE HELLAS, www.nova.gr.
Cyprus : Our Authorized Technical Representative in your area. You will nd a list of all our Authorized Technical
Representatives on our web site www.nova-cyprus.com.
TERMS OF GUARANTEE
1. In the event of any fault, malfunction or failure with reference to the whole or a part of the set-top box, which has as a
consequence its non suitable operation, MULTICHOICE HELLAS undertakes at its own expenses its repair or replacement,
when the repair is judged unsuccessful.
2. The guarantee commences from the day of purchase of the set-top box and is valid for 24months.
3. The guarantee concerns only the set-top box and not other devices or equipment related to it (TV sets, antennas etc).In
the event that the set-top box is connected to a satellite dish and cabling that MULTICHOICE HELLAS has supplied, then
the guarantee covers this equipment too.
4. The guarantee does not cover damages that are due to misuse or negligence of the subscriber or third parties beyond
the Technical Representative of MULTICHOICE HELLAS during the operation of the unit or damages that arise from
extraordinary weather phenomena or from phenomena that evolve at the surrounding area (for example, hailstorm,
oods, res etc.) the occurrence of which does not derive from a real defect of the equipment that MULTICHOICE HELLAS
has supplied or damages that are due to situations of force majeure.
5. The guarantee of the set-top box does not cover wears or damages that occur during the transfer or transport by
another transporter except for MULTICHOICE HELLAS.
6. The guarantee ceases to be in eect in the event that the device has been opened or subjected to a repair by a third
party, non-authorized technician other than the Authorized Technical Representatives of MULTICHOICE HELLAS.
7. Any repair does not extend the time of guarantee of the entire equipment.The spare parts that are possible to be used by
MULTICHOICE HELLAS or by a Technical Representative of its during the equipments repair, bear a separate guarantee of
24 months.
8. The work and the spare parts (or a substitute set-top box) are provided ENTIRELY FREE OF CHARGE.
9. In the event of an unjustiable call to a Technical Representative, any transport expenses of the latter burden the
subscriber.
10. In each contact with the company, you are kindly requested to report the serial number of your set-top box.
The as above guarantee covers the Greek Territory and the Territory of Cyprus.
KEEP THIS GUARANTEE. THE GUARANTEE IS VALID ONLY UPON PRESENTING THIS DOCUMENT.
