Pre-Startup Checklist

Electrical Checks:
Main power and 120v power wires are securely attached to the heat pump
and active.
Final Checks:
All panels and enclosures are securely closed and axed.
All ball valves in the piping systems are open, including valves on expansion
tanks, storage tanks, condensate drains and swing tanks.
Ensure that the Startup Procedure in the following manual section is
on hand for the commissioning agent to fill out during startup. PDFs are
available for download through your manufacturer’s representative or using
the QR Code in the “Startup Procedure” portion of this manual.
Turn on main and 120v power to allow the heat pump to warm up. DO NOT
engage any functions on the control interface.
All control and communication wires are securely attached, and connected
equipment is in place and ready to operate.
Verify remote outdoor air sensor (ducted systems only) is installed in a
location without significant heat gains from intermittent sources and is near
the heat pump intake air louver.
