to reach Cut-Out

period of time.
Defrost Time Out is not set too low.
Defrost heaters are powering and heating
properly.
Defrost cut out temperature is not too High.
Defrost sensor and wiring are good.
Fan Fault
Fans have registered one
of several faults
Fans are clear of debris or obstruction.
Fans are attached securely and not twisted.
Fan wiring is undamaged and secure.
Prevailing winds are not extreme.
Fan Power is good.
Ambient temperature is not too high.
Power Fault
Primary power out of
phase or voltage spec.
Primary power wiring correct and secure.
Voltage is in spec.
Building is not experiencing power problems.
Power Monitor and wiring are good.
Cold Ambient
Ambient is below
minimum
Ambient is actually below minimum.
Evap sensor and wiring are good.
Hot Ambient
Ambient temp is above
maximum
Ambient is actually above maximum.
Evap sensor and wiring are good.
Tank Sensor
Fault
Tank sensor missing or
out of range
Tank Sensor and wiring are good.
Ensure “tank“ is the correct mode for this
install.
M Protection
Electrical or Temperature
problem w/compressor
Power Monitor and wiring are good.
Drain Pan
Hold
Drain pan has sensed
water for some time
Check Pan for water/ice/debris.
if no water, check pan sensors and wiring are
good.
If water is present in drain pan:
Condensate piping is clear and pitched.
Condensate pumps, if used, are functional.
Condensate piping is trapped and vented
after trap.
