Setting the receiver volume
Adjust the receiver volume of the mobile phone while a call is in
progress:
1. Press the / keys at the side of the mobile phone to
raise or lower the receiver volume.
Exposure to the receiver earpiece at full volume for a
long period could cause ear damage.
Menu Options Available During a Call
You can change some settings while a call is in progress.
Handsfree
You can select whether to hear the caller via the loudspeaker.
1. Select the H-Free option while a call is in progress. The caller
can then be heard over the loudspeaker.
2. Select H-Held to deactivate the loudspeaker again.
Muting the microphone
You can switch the microphone off while the call is in progress.
Muting means that the call continues to be connected but the call
er can no longer hear you.
1. While a call is in progress, navigate to Options Silent On. The
microphone is switched off.
2. Navigate to Options Silent Off to deactivate the muting function.
Putting a call on hold
You can select whether to put the call in progress on hold.
Putting a call on hold basically means keeping the caller connect
ed but having no direct communication. The caller is put on hold
enabling you to call someone else. The first caller cannot hear this
call.
1. While a call is in progress, navigate to Options Holdsinglecall.
The caller is put on hold.
2. Navigate to Options Retrieve to resume the call.
