dependently of the phone, the disadvantage being there is less
memory capacity available.

Phone book settings
Advanced settings can be defined in the phone book settings.
Preferred storage location
You can define your preferred storage location for phone book en
tries. Depending on the setting defined, phone book entries are
saved on the SIM card or in the mobile phone memory without any
further confirmation requests.
1. Navigate to Menu Phonebook Phonebooksettings Preferredstorage.
2. Select the storage location, SIM1 / Phone.
Memory status
Information appears regarding the number of contacts stored and
storage locations available:
1. Navigate to Menu Phonebook Phonebooksettings Memorystatus. The
storage locations still available are displayed.
Speed Dialling
You can assign speed dialling for up to 8 phone book entries to the
keys - .
Activating the speed dialling function
Firstly, the speed dialling function must be switched on.
1. Navigate to Menu Phonebook Phonebooksettings Speeddial Status.
2. Select On. The speed dialling function is switched on.
NOTE You can only assign speed dialling numbers to contacts who are
already stored in the phone book.
Adding contacts to the speed dialling list
Add contacts to the speed dialling function in order to be able to
dial them via the keys - .
1. Navigate to Menu Phonebook Phonebooksettings Speeddial
Setnumbers.
2. Select a speed dialling storage location not yet assigned
(<Empty>).
3. Select the required contact. The setting is saved.
