Olympus DM-20 - Recording Modes (REC MODE)

You can select from among three recording modes: HQ (High Quality) mode, SP (Standard
Playback) mode and LP (Long Playback) mode.
If an optional stereo microphone is used, the only possible recording mode is SHQ (Stereo High
Quality).
Recording Modes (REC MODE)

Press and hold the MENU button
for 1 second or longer.
“REC MODE” will be displayed on the
screen (☞ P.43).

Press the PLAY button.
The recording mode setup process
begins.

Press the FF or REW button to
choose from HQ, SP and LP.

Press the PLAY button to complete
the setup screen.

Press the STOP button to close the
menu.

Choose SHQ/HQ or SP mode for recording meetings or lectures with
crisp clarity.
