Serial number input operation
1 Tilt the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick up, down, left or right to select the
desired position in the 3 digits serial number field.
2 With the serial number field selected, press the [MEAS/ENTER]
joystick to enter each figure of the 3 digits serial number.
3 After inputting the serial number, select “OK” and press the [MEAS/
ENTER] joystick.
The title input window closes and the input serial number is shown in the title
display area.
By inputting serial numbers, the serial numbers are updated automatically every
time an image is recorded (i.e. every time the [FRZ/REC] button is pressed for at
least two seconds).
NOTE
• If all the digits in the serial number are blank, “_ _ _”, then a serial number is not displayed on
screen. Also, in this situation, serial numbers are not updated when images are recorded.
Setting the completed title
1 After inputting the title, select “OK” and press the [MEAS/ENTER]
joystick.
The title input window closes and the input title is shown in the title display area.
If nothing is input in the second line of the title, the characters input for the first
line of the title are displayed in the bottom line on the screen.
Registering words to favorites
If you register commonly used words to favorites, you can access these words
when you are inputting titles. You can register a maximum of 21 words to
favorites.
1 Input the word you want to register to favorites in the title input box.
For more information on how to input text, see “Title input operations” (page
100).
2 Select “ENTRY” and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
The favorites registration button is highlighted, and the word being registered in
favorites is displayed in the selection box.
