CAUTION
• Note that insufficient cleaning can result in a loss of waterproofing between the optical
adapter and the scope’s distal end.
• Cleaning should be done periodically in order to maintain water resistance.
Inspecting the parts of the optical adapter
Check that the parts of the optical adapter are not loose.
CAUTION
• Never use it if any parts are loose. Otherwise, the loose part may fall into the inspection
object.
Attaching and detaching the optical adapter
1 Positioning the optical adapter with the distal end of the scope so
they are directly opposite each other, carefully insert the optical
adapter into the distal end of the scope.
