Chapter 6 Measurement procedures

NOTE
• The messages of “STEP 3A” and “STEP 3B” will be displayed only if overwrite is required.
Measurement value check
The accuracy of stereo measurement will be reduced by loose attachment of the
optical adapter or dirt on the lens components. Routinely perform a check of
measurements before and after the actual testing and confirm that the
measurement values do not vary considerably.
Checking the measurement values
1 Insert the scope distal end into the optical adapter hole of the check
tool (included with the Stereo Measurement Set) to the end.
Message Description
STEP1 Open the slot cover, and replace the recording media with the optical data
media (CF card or USB memory).
STEP1A Insert the optical data media (CF card or USB memory).
STEP2 Confirm the adapter name and set number.
STEP3A Overwrite the data that has already been registered.
STEP3B The internal memory is full. Select environment data that can be deleted.
STEP4 Tighten the adapter firmly in arrow direction.
Adapter unsteady or loose degrades measurement accuracy.
Do not use tools.
STEP5 After locating the small mark to the center,
adjust for uniform brightness with BRT button and push FREEZE button.
STEP6 Remove the optical data media (CF card or USB memory).
