Chapter 6 Measurement procedures
6 Adjust the brightness of a white image.
Use the check tool provided with the stereo measurement set to capture a white
image.
The orientation of the scope in the white indented part is different depending on
whether the optical adapter is a direct view type or side view type.
• For forward-view optical adapter
Insert the distal end of the scope into the forward-view guide directly oriented
towards the protrusion in the white indented part.
• For side-view optical adapter
Insert the distal end of the scope into the side-view guide directly oriented
towards the protrusion in the white indented part.
7 After inserting the scope distal end into the guide hole to the end,
rotate the check tool so that the protrusion in the middle of the
white indented part comes into the center of the visual field.
