Chapter 9 Troubleshooting
The angulation
operation is
extremely
heavy.
ERROR (A1) The insertion tube is
overloaded and the self-
check function was
triggered to prompt
termination of inspection.
Extend the insertion tube as
much as possible to reduce
the loop amount, and turn
power back on without
operating the [ANGLE]
joystick.
Message
displayed
during menu
operations.
ERROR (M1) The memory is not stable. Stop inspection and turn the
instrument off then on again.
Message
display when
using battery.
LOW BATTERY!
PLEASE USE
AC ADAPTER
OR OTHER
BATTERY
IMMEDIATELY.
The battery voltage
dropped when using
battery.
Stop recording, copying,
moving, deleting images, or
formatting recording media
and quickly replace the
battery. Or, plug in the
adapter.
ERROR (LV1) The battery is almost dead. Stop inspection and replace
the battery.
Self-check
triggers during
use and
displays a
message.
ERROR (BT1) Head has built up inside the
base unit triggering the self-
check function to prompt
termination of inspection.
Terminate inspection, allow
the instrument to cool down,
and then turn power back on
again.
If you are using battery
power, replace the battery
(“8.2 Replacing the battery”
(page 162)).
ERROR (D1) The self-check function is
activated and urges
termination of inspection.
Stop inspection and turn the
instrument off then on again.
