Chapter 4 Basic operations
1 Insert a recording card
Insert a recording card (CF card) specified by OLYMPUS into the RECORDING
CARD slot on the base unit.
CAUTION
• Be sure to insert the recording card into the recording card slot in the orientation shown in the
figure above. If the recording card is inserted in the wrong orientation, the recording card and/
or the recording card slot may be damaged.
NOTE
• To pull out the card, grasp the tag after pushing the eject button.
2 Setup of the image recording format
To setup image recording format, press the [MENU/EXIT] button to display the
menu while in the live screen, and use the “RECORD” menu for the setting (see
“Live screen/frozen screen menu display and functions” (page 94)).
a. To record the displayed date/time, title, logo and measurement results together on the
still image, set “ON” in the “PRINT SCREEN” menu (see page 95).
b. To record still images, use the “STILL QUAL” menu to select the format of still images.
c. If you want to record audio with still images, set the “STILL AUDIO” menu to “ON”.
d. Select where to save the file in the “DESTINATION” menu.
