• In case a pollutant enters the Miniature Light Source, remove
the Battery Holder Cap and Lamp Holder according to Figure
3.15, and sterilize them together with the Main Body of the
Light Source using ETO gas according to the “OLYMPUS
ENF/LF ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSING MANUAL”.
• Sterilize the Miniature Light Source using ETO gas, with the
battery installed, after inspection is completed. For more
details on sterilization, please refer to the “OLYMPUS
ENF/LF ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSING MANUAL”.
Inspection of the Miniature Light Source
1.
Inspect the Miniature Light Source (MAJ-524) for damage (see Figure 3.8).
2. Confirm that the Battery Holder Cap is attached securely (see Figure 3.8).
3. Confirm that the Lamp Holder is attached securely (see Figure 3.8).
