Preparation of the Miniature Light Source

Rotate the Battery Holder Cap counterclockwise and remove it (see Figure
3.6).

2. Insert the battery into the Battery Holder. Insert the (+) terminal first (see
Figure 3.7).

3. Attach the Battery Holder Cap and rotate the cap clockwise until it stops.
• It is recommended that you have a spare Miniature Light
Source ready before use. If the Miniature Light Source is
damaged or its battery runs out, you can continue the
examination by replacing the Miniature Light Source with the
spare.
