Additional shooting functions
TIPS
When the self-timer/remote control lamp does not blink after the shutter
button on the remote control is pressed
jThe remote control may be too far from the camera. Move closer to the
camera and press the shutter button on the remote control again.
To operate the zoom from the remote control
jAim the remote control at the receiver on the camera and press the W or T
button on the remote control.
How to cancel remote control mode
jThe remote control mode is not canceled automatically after shooting. Go
to Step 2 and set to [B OFF].
Note
• Remote control channel switching is not supported. Remote control operation
is accepted from either channel.
• If the remote control receiver is exposed to strong light, the effective signal
distance may be reduced or shooting may not take place.
• To take sequential pictures using the remote control, press and hold the shutter
button on the remote control. If the camera does not receive the remote control
signal properly, sequential shooting may stop.
• To view pictures using the remote control, refer to the instruction manual for the
remote control.
