3. Inserting the Batteries
Usable batteries (sold separately)
Always use one of the following battery combinations:
AA alkaline batteries/AA NiMH batteries
• Manganese batteries are not to be used.
Inserting the batteries
While installing and exchanging batteries make sure to wipe off the any
water from flash and always use dry hands. Pay especial attention for any
drips from hair and wetsuits.
1 Make sure that the mode dial is in the OFF position.
2 Turn “a” counter-clockwise to the OPEN( position.
3 Pull the battery cap straight out.
4 Insert four batteries aligned to the + and – marks.
5 Take care to insert the batteries in the correct direction.
• Check the O-ring to make sure there are no scratches or debris, and
apply a light coating of the included silicon grease.(
