Risk of injury
If any damage to the insulation at the electrode’s distal end
is recognized during use, replace the electrode with an
undamaged electrode. Otherwise there is a risk of injury for
the patient and/or user.
CAUTION!
The maximum output time for the HF generator UES-40
must not exceed 10 seconds. There must be an interval of
30 seconds between each output.
Otherwise, the HF generator may be damaged.
Procedure for active working element WA22366A
In the neutral position, the working element’s spring
advances the electrode’s cutting loop out of the sheath.
- For resection, pull the working element’s handle in
proximal direction towards the thumb ring.
- Through the force of the working element’s spring, the
electrode is then moved back in its initial position.
An “active” cut needs to be performed by the operator’s
manual force.
