Manual cleaning (HF-resection electrodes WA22351A,
WA22355A, WA22538A)
Immediately after use, use a soft, lint-free cloth to remove
all tissue residues from the instrument.
If necessary, carefully remove any remaining tissue
residues with a soft cleaning brush (A0451).
Immerse the instrument in enzymatic cleaning agent for
at least 15 minutes.
Thoroughly brush the instrument with a soft cleaning
brush (A0451) and enzymatic cleaning agent.
Immerse the instrument in enzymatic cleaning agent and
subject it to ultrasound cleaning for at least 5 minutes.
Thoroughly brush the instrument with a soft cleaning
brush (A0451) and enzymatic cleaning agent once again
Thoroughly rinse the instrument using cleaning pistol
O0190 and de-ionized water.
Dry the instrument.
Machine cleaning (working element)
Immediately after use, thoroughly rinse all gaps and inner
surfaces of the instrument with a syringe and enzymatic
cleaning agent.
Immerse the instrument in enzymatic cleaning agent and
subject it to ultrasound cleaning.
Thoroughly rinse the instrument using cleaning pistol
O0190 and de-ionized water.
Refer to the “Olympus Endoscopy System Guide” for
detailed information on machine cleaning and thermal
disinfection.
In machine cleaning, use alkaline cleaning agent.

Immerse the instrument in enzymatic cleaning agent for
at least 5 minutes.
Thoroughly rinse the instrument with a syringe and
enzymatic cleaning agent.
Completely remove any remaining tissue residues with a
soft, lint-free cloth.
