What to do if my Onga Water Pump does not start?
    • J
      Joseph WardAug 8, 2025
If your Onga Water Pump isn't starting, ensure it's connected to a live outlet. Also, check the circuit breakers and fuses. If the pressure controller detects no water in the tank, make sure there's enough water and press the reset or start button. A blocked pump can also be the cause; disconnect it from the power and inspect the housing and discharge for any obstructions. If none of these steps work, the capacitor may be defective, and you should call a qualified service technician.

Why does my onga JSP110 have poor performance with low pressure?
    • S
      Sharon RoyAug 14, 2025
To troubleshoot low pressure or flow in your Onga Water Pump, first, check the suction line for leaks, especially at the joints. If the tank water level is too far below the pump, consider discussing a better pump option with your Onga dealer or moving the pump closer to the tank. Also, a worn or damaged pump can cause poor performance, so ask your Onga dealer to investigate worn parts.

What to do if there is no water from onga JSP110?
    • Z
      Zachary StrongAug 19, 2025
If your Onga Water Pump isn't providing water, first ensure the pump body and suction line are filled with water before starting. Check the suction line for leaks, particularly at the joints. Blockages in the pump or discharge can also prevent water flow, so disconnect the pump from power and inspect for foreign matter. Make sure all valves on the tank, pump, and outlets are open. If the tank doesn't have enough water, wait until it refills and then press the reset or start button on the pressure controller. Also, check and clean the pump if it's not producing enough pressure, and inspect/clean any in-line or tap filters that may be blocked. Finally, check system pressure and adjust the pressure switch accordingly.

Why does my onga JSP110 Water Pump run intermittently?
    • H
      Harry HuntAug 26, 2025
If your Onga Water Pump runs intermittently, start by checking for small leaks in your household plumbing and fix them. Ensure that the water temperature remains within the specified limits. Verify that the voltage is within the allowable limits as stated in the specifications, and correct if necessary. Also, make sure there's adequate ventilation for the motor cooling fan.

Application

Installation

Preparation for Installation

Inspect pump for damage, ensure suction piping is free of air leaks.

Pump Protection

Protect pump from weather, dust, vermin, and chemicals using a weatherproof enclosure.

Pipe Installation

Connect pipes carefully, support them, use flexible unions, and teflon tape for sealing.

Locating the Pump

Position pump close to water source on a stable footing.

Power Source

Arrange for an electrician to install a suitable outdoor 10A electrical outlet near the pump.

Suction

Proper suction setup is critical for performance and longevity; install a gate valve at tank outlets.

Discharge

Pipework length and diameter affect pressure/flow. All components must exceed pump pressure rating.

Pump Priming

Ensure pump and suction line are full of water before operation; check for leaks.

Electrical Installation

Operation

Start-up; Operation

Prime the pump, ensure it's full of water before starting.

Pressure Switch

Details on how to install and adjust the pressure switch for JSK models.

Aqua Packs

Aqua Packs need pre-charging with air; installation and maintenance are important.

Aqua Pack Tank Recharge Procedure

Periodic checking and recharging of air pressure in Aqua Packs is necessary.
