3.2.4 Flow Meter Installation
Determine which pipe (supply or return) has the longer unobstructed straight run. Install
the ow meter in the longest straight pipe run available. One temperature sensor can be
installed ve diameters downstream of the ow meter leaving enough clearance to remove
either sensor from the pipe without interference from the other sensor.
Also refer to the installation manual and/or other documentation that is provided with
your ONICON ow meter.
For F-1300 series inline turbine ow meters, refer to the documentation that is provided
with the ow meter.
