Recording radio programs
Display
1 Insert an MD.
See step 1 in “Pla ying an MD” on pa ge 18.
The MD must be recor dable.
2 Check the remaining recordable time.
See step 2-3 and 4 on page 22.
3 Press TUNER, then turn MULTI JOG or press
it repeatedly to choose the preset channel.
4 Press REC to set the MD to recording
pause.
The recording ( ) and
pause ( ) indicators light
in the display.
5 Press MD to start recording.
6 Press MD after completing recording, then
press MD .
The TOC indicator flashes
while the data is being
recor ded onto the MD , and
then the MD is ejected.

To mark a track number at the desired point
Press REC while recording. Keep a sufficient interval
(more than four seconds) to mark the next track number. If
it is too short, the track number may not be marked.

Tip
You can change the display
information by pressing
DISPLAY.
To pause recording
Press MD . “ ” lights in the
display.
To restart recording, press the
same button. The track number
will be marked when recording
resumes.
To stop recording
Press MD .
Recording automatically stops
when the end of the MD has
been reached.
