Settings for Recording—Continued
The Level Sync function of the FR-X7A automatically numbers the song at the beginning of signal input. Turn
on this function to automatically number songs during recording. (The songs may not be numbered if the gap
(silence) between songs is too short.)
During CD dubbing, specified track dubbing, and double-speed dubbing, the tracks are automatically num-
bered, regardless of the Level Sync function status.
•To number the tracks, turn off the Level Sync function, then press REC during recording at the point at which
you wish to assign a track number. If the interval between two presses of REC is shorter than four seconds,
the tracks may not be numbered.
When the Level Sync function is on, the MD recorder automatically enters Record Standby mode if silence con-
tinues for 60 seconds.
When the LEVEL-SYNC indicator is lit, the Level Sync function is turned on. (When you turn off the function,
this indicator disappears.)
•You can execute this function only when the input source is MD and the unit is stopped.
