    How to fix rough or scratchy sound on my Onkyo Receiver?

      If you are experiencing rough or scratchy sound, and the high range is not clear on your Onkyo Receiver, use the audio adjust function to cut the treble response, as the treble control may be set too high.

    Why are no preset channels selected on my Onkyo TX-SR302?

      If no preset channels are selected on your Onkyo Receiver, it could be that the power cord was unplugged for an extended period, causing the preset data in memory to be lost. You will need to preset the radio stations again.

    Why LATE NIGHT function cannot be used on my Onkyo TX-SR302 Receiver?

      The LATE NIGHT function cannot be used if the playback source is not Dolby Digital encoded. Check that the Ÿ DIGITAL indicator lights up in the display.

    Why is multichannel audio not output from my Onkyo TX-SR302?

      If multichannel audio is not output from your Onkyo Receiver, first set the input signal format to “Multich.” If that doesn't work, check that the multichannel output jacks of the component are connected to the DVD FRONT L/R, SURROUND L/R, CENTER and SUBWOOFER jacks. Finally, consult the DVD player's instruction manual to ensure it is set for multi channel output.
