Before you start we recommend you read and understand this manual completely.
This upgrade is done entirely at your own risk.
Please note: We do NOT accept any liability in the event of damage to your BD-player in the process of
installation or in the usage of the upgrade.
We can confirm that the upgrade can easily be removed at any time and re-installed if needed.
1) Opening your player.
Make sure that your player is disconnected from the mains electricity before you even start opening the
player. If you set the unit in front of you with the display towards you there are 5 screws at the back of
the player. Remove them using a Philips screwdriver. Remove the 2 screws at the left and 2 at the right
side. Remove the top cover, by gently lifting the back of the cover up, until it comes free.
2) Once you have the unit opened please locate this board and the empty connecter where the red
arrow is pointed. For Oppo UBD-205 you will need to remove 2 audio boards to get to the board
that has the connecter. Please remove to the buttom of this instruction sheet for a diagram of
the boards.
