Talk range
The Opus T2 has been designed to maximize performance and
provide the best transmission range.
The communication range of all radios is directly affected by the
terrain. The best performance will occur in open, flat areas, whilst
obstructions such as trees and buildings will progressively reduce
the effective range and increase interference.
Concrete structures, heavy foliage, metal buildings and operating
indoors or inside vehicles will have the worst effect on range.
Avoiding obstructions and maintaining a clear line of sight
between users will provide the most reliable communication.
Additional equipment may be required for reliable communication
in problem areas contact your supplier for details.
